Jicduf Reef Marine Sanctuary

Jicduf Reef Marine Sanctuary

Jicduf Shoal has been dubbed one of the best dive sites in Camiguin. The shoal forms an expansive reef of more than 10 heactares across and thus serves as a home to a wide variety of marine life like colonies of leather and diverse corals. One can expect to encounter electric blue damselfish and eagle rays.

Burias Shoal Marine Sanctuary

Burias Shoal Marine Sanctuary

This dive spot is an underwater wonder, but is only accessible to advanced divers due to the stiff current. For this reason, it has become a favorite amongst divers that enjoy the excitement of the challenge. Expect to be welcomed by large brain corals, plenty of black corals and a plethora of schools of fish like jacks, tuna, long nose emperors, mackarel and barracudas.

Should you use Mantigue Island as a jump-off point to the shoal by motorboat, expect to arrive in 15 minutes.

Mantigue Island Marine Sanctuary

Mantigue Island has four hectares of evergreen forest fringed with white sands. Under the water, it is teeming with marine life, with frequent sightings of turtles, even for snorkelers. Divers enter a world of coral walls and sponges, and various tropical species like shrimp fish, eels, pufferfish, frogfish, rays and sometimes, blacktip sharks.

Pasil Reef Marine Sanctuary

The Pasil Reef Marine Sanctuary is 27.2 ha of underwater wonderland, exhibiting one of the best reefs on the entire island in terms of live coral cover. Prepare to be awed by the variety of coral life forms and marine life. Snorkelers and divers can expect to spot the marine turtles, gentle batfishes and midnight snappers that frequent the reef.

Home of the Black Forest Reef, the White Island Marine Sanctuary is a paradise for throngs of colorful tropical fish and corals that are testament to a healthy reef system. Like a city underwater, the Black Forest Reef is a favorite amongst divers! On-land, you can enjoy the nearby White Island to swim, sunbathe, snorkel and collect shells.
